 ABUSE IS NEVER OK.

What is abuse?

Abuse can take many forms. There are four main types that you need to be aware of:

PHYSICAL ABUSE
This is where somebody may punch, hit, kick, bite, scratch or shove you and can leave bruises or marks.

SEXUAL ABUSE

This is where somebody includes you in sexual activity, touching your body inappropriately or watching you naked.

EMOTIONAL ABUSE

This is where somebody says hurtful things, calls you names or makes you scared.

NEGLECTFUL ABUSE

This is where somebody does not give you things you need to feel safe like a place to live, food to eat or take you to a Doctor when you are hurt or sick.

 WHO CAN YOU TALK TO?

You may have had something happen to you or have seen something happening to someone else.

It can be hard to know who to talk to when something doesn't feel right.
